Changes to Deposit Method and Casinos blocking US Players

Since the bill was signed with the intent to block online
gambling transactions to the United States, many companies have
				changed their terms.

Right now Firepay does not allow anyone from the US to open
an account or fund an existing one. All Firepay accounts
originating from the US will be closed. Others are expected to
follow suit. The US government is intense on making it illegal
to fund any online gaming establishment using a credit card or
				financial institution.

Many casinos have also blocked creation of new accounts for
US players and have closed current US accounts. Some have only
concentrated in accounts in certain states while others blocked
them all. Nobody is sure if this is a trend that will continue
but this doesn't look good for players that want some online
entertainment and many agree that it violates the freedom of
				speech.

Many Microgaming sites have blocked US players, while RTG
states that it is perfectly legal for US players to sign up,
although depositing may be tricky. The software brands are
saying that they will come up with creative ways for players to
deposit and this is yet to be seen, whether it is legal in that
jurisdiction or not, many aren't sure if it can be properly
				policed.

IP service providers may start blocking gambling sites
originating from the US as well. There is a lot of speculation
as to whether this will halt the fun for all of the players in
the US or just place a temporary setback. Either way, this won't
stop the gambler that is focused on having fun, regardless of
				stipulations. |
